M\u00eame si le vieillissement est in\u00e9vitable, certains comportements permettent de vivre plus vieux, ou du moins de vivre mieux. Voici cinq commandements pour les hommes qui veulent vieillir en sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Les muscles vous entra\u00eenerez<\/h3>\n<p>Pass\u00e9 30\u00a0ans, la masse musculaire commence \u00e0 fondre. Moins on fait d\u2019exercice, plus la perte musculaire est rapide, avec comme cons\u00e9quences possibles une <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC2804956\/#:~:text=One%20of%20the%20most%20striking,60%20%5B4%2C5%5D.\">diminution de la mobilit\u00e9 ou m\u00eame l\u2019invalidit\u00e9<\/a>. La bonne nouvelle, c\u2019est qu\u2019un programme d\u2019exercice physique appropri\u00e9 permet de conserver sa mobilit\u00e9 et son ind\u00e9pendance longtemps en vieillissant. Il peut aussi contribuer \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose et m\u00eame la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alzheimers.org.uk\/about-dementia\/risk-factors-and-prevention\/physical-exercise#:~:text=Exercising%20in%20mid%2Dlife&amp;text=Combining%20the%20results%20of%2011,reduced%20by%2045%20per%20cent.\">d\u00e9mence<\/a>. Les adultes de 18 \u00e0 64\u00a0ans ont besoin d\u2019environ 150\u00a0minutes d\u2019exercice par semaine, par p\u00e9riodes de 10\u00a0minutes ou plus. Le programme d\u2019entra\u00eenement doit \u00eatre r\u00e9aliste\u00a0: pas besoin d\u2019\u00eatre un pro de la musculation ou de courir un marathon. Faites une promenade apr\u00e8s souper, rendez-vous au travail \u00e0 v\u00e9lo pendant une semaine ou soulevez des poids l\u00e9gers en regardant la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. On ne rajeunit pas, mais l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re am\u00e9liore les chances de vieillir en sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>2. L\u2019alcool vous mod\u00e9rerez<\/h3>\n<p>Boire trop de bi\u00e8re n\u2019est bon pour personne, mais les effets n\u00e9gatifs de la consommation d\u2019alcool augmentent avec l\u2019\u00e2ge. Comme le volume d\u2019eau dans le corps diminue lorsque l\u2019on vieillit, l\u2019alcool consomm\u00e9 se dilue moins facilement. Le corps a alors des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 assimiler l\u2019alcool, ce qui accro\u00eet sa toxicit\u00e9. La mod\u00e9ration a bien meilleur go\u00fbt, car quelques verres quotidiennement suffisent \u00e0 causer des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9. Boire deux bi\u00e8res par soir semble peu, mais les effets de l\u2019alcool sont cumulatifs. La maladie du foie gras, par exemple, peut affecter les buveurs qui ne consomment qu\u2019un \u00e0 deux verres par jour r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. Les hommes doivent \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement vigilants puisqu\u2019 ils boivent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus que les femmes. Pas besoin d\u2019\u00e9liminer compl\u00e8tement l\u2019alcool, mais pr\u00e9voyez au moins quelques jours sans consommation chaque semaine.<\/p>\n<h3>3. La cr\u00e8me solaire vous \u00e9tendrez<\/h3>\n<p>La douleur d\u2019un coup de soleil s\u2019estompe, mais ses effets \u00e0 long terme s\u2019accumulent. Non seulement les coups de soleil contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019apparition des rides, mais cinq au cours d&rsquo;une vie suffisent pour doubler le risque d\u2019\u00eatre atteint d\u2019un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skincancer.org\/skin-cancer-information\/skin-cancer-facts\/\">m\u00e9lanome<\/a>. Les oreilles, le dessus de la t\u00eate et le dos des mains sont les r\u00e9gions les plus expos\u00e9es et donc particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rables. C\u2019est encore plus vrai si vous travaillez ou passez beaucoup de temps \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Environ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/fr\/sante-publique\/services\/maladies-chroniques\/cancer\/cancer-peau-presence-melanome.html\">1\u00a0homme sur 42<\/a> d\u00e9veloppera un m\u00e9lanome au cours de sa vie. La probabilit\u00e9 d\u2019en mourir est \u00e9galement plus grande chez les hommes que les femmes, peut-\u00eatre parce qu\u2019ils sont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/709430\/face-sunscreen-users-by-gender-canada\/\">nettement moins susceptibles<\/a> d\u2019utiliser de la cr\u00e8me solaire. La bonne nouvelle, c\u2019est qu\u2019on peut pr\u00e9venir le cancer de la peau et qu\u2019une d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce am\u00e9liore le pronostic. Alors, badigeonnez une bonne couche de cr\u00e8me solaire et surveillez les changements aux grains de beaut\u00e9 ou l\u2019apparition de nouvelles marques sur la peau. Si vous remarquez une tache inqui\u00e9tante (asym\u00e9trique, aux contours irr\u00e9guliers, multicolore ou tr\u00e8s fonc\u00e9e, dont la taille augmente ou qui est sur\u00e9lev\u00e9e), consultez un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getmaple.ca\/fr\/providers\/dermatologists\/\">dermatologue<\/a> d\u00e8s que possible, car une d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce pourrait vous sauver la vie.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Le stress vous combattrez<\/h3>\n<p>Un peu de stress au bon moment est un atout. Il peut vous motiver ou m\u00eame augmenter votre r\u00e9silience (dans le cas du stress engendr\u00e9 par un nouvel emploi, par exemple). Le stress chronique est une autre histoire. Le corps n\u2019est pas fait pour \u00eatre constamment en \u00e9tat d\u2019alerte, et l\u2019exposition continue au stress peut gravement nuire \u00e0 la sant\u00e9. De plus, comme il est en lien avec de nombreuses maladies, notamment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5137920\/\">l\u2019ath\u00e9roscl\u00e9rose et la d\u00e9pression<\/a>, le stress chronique peut m\u00eame raccourcir votre vie.<\/p>\n<p>Le stress fait partie int\u00e9grante de la vie, mais apprendre \u00e0 le g\u00e9rer vous permet de le d\u00e9samorcer et donne une chance \u00e0 votre corps de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer. Il existe plusieurs fa\u00e7ons d\u2019y parvenir\u00a0: exercice, m\u00e9ditation ou pratique de la pleine conscience. En fait, tout ce qui peut diminuer la pression est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Le r\u00e9seau social vous \u00e9tofferez<\/h3>\n<p>Que vous soyez extraverti ou introverti, la socialisation est importante pour bien vieillir. Des relations interpersonnelles \u00e9panouies rendent les gens heureux. Cependant, un r\u00e9seau social solide n\u2019est pas seulement bon pour la sant\u00e9 mentale. Un vaste corpus de recherches reconna\u00eet les bienfaits des rapports sociaux, et la sant\u00e9 physique d\u00e9pend \u00e9galement de l\u2019existence de liens sociaux forts. Un grand sentiment d\u2019appartenance <a href=\"http:\/\/ccare.stanford.edu\/uncategorized\/connectedness-health-the-science-of-social-connection-infographic\/\">diminue l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9<\/a>, augmente l\u2019estime de soi et am\u00e9liore le contr\u00f4le des \u00e9motions.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a un lien clair entre l\u2019isolement social et le d\u00e9clin de la sant\u00e9 physique et mentale, y compris la d\u00e9pression. La pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 a rendu ce fait douloureusement \u00e9vident.
